Canon EF–EOS R 0.71x adapter provides compatibility between the Canon EOS C70 (RF mount) and Canon EF full-frame lenses. With the adapter, the lens angle of view is preserved, and the focal length is multiplied by 0.71x. The design also increases the maximum aperture by one stop; for example, an f/4 lens becomes approximately f/2.8. The manufacturer states maximum functional compatibility of Canon full-frame lenses with the C70. Note: the Canon EF–EOS R 0.71x adapter is not intended for Canon EF-S crop lenses.
