Phottix Ares radio trigger set is a simple and reliable way to remotely fire studio strobes or flashes at distances up to 200 m and includes an “all channels” firing function. The rotating transmitter makes Phottix Ares convenient to use: it can be tilted upward for quick channel switching or locked in the lowered position.
With a hot shoe and 3.5 mm sync port, Phottix Ares can be used as a trigger for both speedlights and studio strobes. The set uses standard AA batteries. The 2.4 GHz signal provides up to 200 m range and sync speeds up to 1/250 s. Eight digital channels can be selected and set with a single button press.
The “Fire-All” function allows triggering all flashes and lights connected to Phottix Ares receivers set to different channels, useful when using many different flash units at an event or wedding.
