Selective triggering (similar to MultiMAX). This function allows triggering up to four separate flashes (or cameras), either together or individually/in groups.
Relay mode: a Plus III on a remote camera triggers it when it receives a command signal and then automatically switches to transmitter mode to trigger flashes in sync with the shutter.
The redesigned side control panel blocks the view less than Plus II or MultiMAX. The antenna is inside the housing, reducing the risk of damage.
Plus III features a backlit LCD showing all settings.
Plus III units allow two-stage remote camera triggering (half-press and full-press), similar to a camera shutter button.
In ideal conditions, Plus III can transmit up to 500 m. Long Range Mode doubles the effective range. Repeater Mode allows extending range indefinitely via a chain of units.
Plus III supports synchronization up to 14.5 fps.
Firmware can be updated via PocketWizard Utility.
