Aputure Amaran COB 60x is a compact video LED light with variable color temperature 2700–6500K, designed for location work. It measures 11×11×11 cm and weighs 675 g. Output power 65 W delivers 35,700 lux at 1 m at 5600K when using the reflector included in the rental kit. Color accuracy (CRI/TLCI ≥ 96, CQS ≥ 95) makes it suitable for video production, filmmaking, and live streaming. Bowens mount supports a wide range of compatible modifiers. The bottom of the housing includes a 1/4″ mounting point for the stand adapter, which also supports umbrella mounting.
Power can be supplied from mains or from two Sony NP-F batteries via a battery plate. Bluetooth enables wireless control via the Sidus Link app on a smartphone or tablet. The manufacturer states a wireless range up to 80 m in open space.
Nine built-in lighting effects — “Paparazzi”, “Fireworks”, “Fire”, “Lightning”, “Faulty Bulb”, “TV”, “Pulse”, “Strobe”, and “Explosion Flash” — simulate off-camera actions.
