Aputure Light Storm C120D II video light features a daylight color temperature of 5500K, power output of 180 W, and high color rendering performance with CRI 96+ and TLCI 97+.
The Aputure Light Storm C120D II is approximately 25% more powerful than the first-generation Light Storm 120d LED and is well suited for use as a fill light. The manufacturer recommends it for video and cinema production. Creative possibilities are expanded by built-in lighting effects: – Paparazzi – Fireworks – TV – Lightning – Faulty Bulb.
Light output is smoothly adjustable from 1 to 100%. At maximum output, the brightness is equivalent to a 1000 W incandescent lamp, reaching 30,000 lux at 0.5 m. When used with a compatible Fresnel lens, brightness can be increased up to 135,000 lux at 0.5 m.
Lighting control is performed via the control unit, which also powers the fixture. The housing includes a V-Mount battery plate as well as an AC power input supporting 110–240 V. Remote control is available at distances up to 100 meters using the included RC1 remote control (2.4 GHz, groups A/B/C/D). The DMX512 protocol allows integration into professional lighting control systems.
The active cooling system features Auto and Force modes and operates with a very low noise level. At maximum output, fan noise does not exceed 18 dB, comparable to human breathing.
