Aputure Light Storm COB 300x LED video light features a powerful bi-color LED and allows smooth adjustment of color temperature from 2700K to 6500K. Like other fixtures in the Aputure Light Storm series, the 300x model is recommended for video production, cinema, and live broadcasting. This is supported by high color rendering values of CRI/TLCI ≥ 96 and compatibility with a wide range of light shaping accessories. Brightness output depends on the selected color temperature when used with the Hyper 7 reflector:
– Maximum output at 3200K — 16,200 lux at 1 m
– Maximum output at 4300K — 24,300 lux at 1 m
– Maximum output at 5500K — 20,500 lux at 1 m.

The control unit is largely identical to that of the 300d II model, with the main difference being the addition of a color temperature control dial. The combined control and power unit also functions as a ballast. Light intensity is smoothly adjustable from 1 to 100%. The housing includes slots for two V-Mount batteries and an AC power input. For operation at 50% output, only one battery is required. The Sidus Link application expands control capabilities via mobile devices. The DMX512 protocol allows integration into professional lighting systems. Control using the included RC1 remote control is also supported.

Nine lighting effects are available for simulating off-camera light sources: – Explosion Flash – Fireworks – Strobe – Lightning – TV – Paparazzi – Faulty Bulb – Pulse – Fire. Preset color temperature modes are available for quick switching: 2700K, 3200K, 4300K, 5500K, and 6500K. The universal Bowens mount expands compatibility with various light modifiers. When used with a compatible Fresnel lens, brightness can be increased up to 65,000 lux at 1 m.
