Aputure Bowens barndoors kit is a multifunction accessory for shaping the beam to match creative tasks during shooting. The inner surface is covered with a velvet-like material to minimize reflections. The barndoors mount onto a compact 7-inch reflector with a Bowens mount. The rental kit includes, in addition to the reflector: a 30° honeycomb grid for additional beam shaping and texture, and a magnetic gel holder for gel filters used to adjust color temperature.

The Bowens mount provides broad compatibility; for example, the kit fits Aputure Light Storm COB fixtures. The barndoors can also be installed on other 7-inch reflectors and Fresnel lenses with the same outer diameter.

Note: Filters are not included. The manufacturer recommends replacing filters every 2 hours during continuous operation.
