Sony SMAD-P3 adapter allows Sony UWP-D series wireless receivers to be connected directly to compatible camcorders and interchangeable-lens cameras without cables. The receiver is powered and charged from the camera, and the camera can control receiver power on/off, simplifying operation. Compatible Sony cameras include most modern camcorders such as PXW-FS7 and PXW-FS5, video cameras including FDR-AX100 and NEX-VG30, and Sony Alpha 7 series cameras.
