RØDE VideoMic Pro+ is a compact on-camera microphone designed for mirrorless and DSLR cameras and portable recorders. It features a supercardioid pickup pattern and a safety channel mode that records a secondary mono signal at –10 dB. Controls for the two-stage high-pass filter, three-stage gain, and high-frequency boost are located on the microphone body. A Rycote Lyre shock mount reduces handling noise. The microphone can be powered by an internal rechargeable battery, two AA batteries, or via Micro-USB, and supports automatic power on/off with compatible cameras.
