Hollyland Lark MAX 2 Combo with 4 microphones is a wireless audio transmission system built on a full 32-bit signal chain with 48 kHz sampling and up to 128 dB dynamic range. Built-in 8 GB internal storage supports up to 14 hours of uncompressed audio recording. Compatibility with major DAWs, including Pro Tools and Logic Pro, simplifies post-production workflows.
The system configuration supports using up to four transmitters with one receiver. Synchronization is supported via a built-in timecode generator. The receiver includes three programmable buttons for control. Wireless transmission works up to 340 meters using frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS).
Noise reduction is based on algorithmic audio processing, adjustable from 5 to 25 dB. Wind protection reduces low-frequency interference by 15 dB.
Total system runtime with the charging case is up to 36 hours. Transmitters charge in 1.5 hours, and runtime with noise reduction enabled is up to 7 hours. The receiver has a dedicated USB Type-C port for simultaneous recording and charging of a connected device.
The system supports connection to different equipment: to cameras and recorders via a 3.5 mm mini-jack, and to smartphones, action cameras, and laptops via a USB Type-C cable. Transmitters include omnidirectional microphones and ports for lavalier microphones via an adapter. Clothing attachment is via a clip or magnetic mount.
