Saramonic K9 is a professional dual-channel UHF wireless system combining UHF digital transmission, 32-bit float audio recording, wide dynamic range, and timecode synchronization.
Frequency selection: transmission operates in the 550–960 MHz UHF range, enabling worldwide use. Compared to 2.4 GHz systems, K9 offers higher resistance to interference. Automatic channel scanning selects the clearest available frequency.
Wide dynamic audio range: up to 130 dB at the input and up to 120 dB at the analog output.
Internal recording: audio is recorded in 32-bit float format. Memory cards up to 256 GB are supported.
Timecode synchronization: wireless via the Saramonic System app or wired using third-party synchronizers via the 3.5 mm connector.
Recording monitoring: IFB (interruptible foldback) allows real-time monitoring of the speaker’s audio during recording.
Lavalier microphone: IP67-rated, 3 mm diameter for concealed mounting. The K9 kit includes one of the smallest lavalier microphones in the industry (⌀3 mm), protected against dust and moisture and reinforced with a Kevlar cable.
Operating time: with lithium AA batteries—up to 9 hours (transmitter) and up to 8 hours (receiver); with NiMH 1.2 V AA batteries—up to 6 hours (transmitter) and up to 5 hours (receiver); with alkaline AA batteries—up to 3.5 hours (transmitter) and up to 2.5 hours (receiver).
