Zoom H1essential is the next generation of Zoom’s compact recorders, now supporting 32-bit Float audio recording. Thanks to 32-bit Float, there is no need to adjust recording levels, as the H1essential captures audio with full detail and maximum dynamic range in every take. It supports 32-bit Float recording without gain adjustment, 90-degree X/Y microphones with a maximum SPL of 120 dB, sampling rates up to 96 kHz, a bright modern OLED display, overdubbing, pre-record and auto-record functions, a timer, USB microphone mode, spoken function descriptions for visually impaired users, up to 10 hours of operation from two AAA batteries or USB power via USB-C, and recording to microSDXC cards up to 1 TB.
