AVS Energy 12–220V car inverter converts 12V DC from a vehicle electrical system into 220V AC. It is used to power laptops, audio/video systems, and household devices inside a vehicle. The 12–220V converter can also be used in off-grid locations to power construction tools.

The inverter includes protection against short circuits and reverse polarity, overheating and output overload protection, as well as protection against input voltage outside the allowable range. A status indicator shows the condition of the vehicle electrical system. When selecting a voltage converter, the connected load must be lower than the inverter rated power.
