Canon EOS R50 V mirrorless camera is based on the EOS R50. Many components (sensor, processor, shutter) are shared, but the R50 V is more focused on video recording.
The camera has a 24 MP APS-C sensor with Dual Pixel CMOS AF and a DIGIC X processor.
New features include 4K 50/60 fps recording for smooth capture and slow motion, Canon Log 3 for professional color grading, and a built-in fan for overheating protection.
Advanced connectivity includes Wi-Fi 2.4 + 5 GHz for smartphone live streaming (up to 3 cameras with live switching), and more.
The R50 V also shoots stills well: burst rates up to 15 fps, and the mechanical shutter supports external flash use.
