Panasonic GH6 mirrorless camera features a 25.2 MP sensor, records 10-bit 4K 4:2:2 internally to a memory card, and has no software time limit on recording duration. When outputting via HDMI to Atomos Ninja V / Ninja V+ with the latest firmware and software installed, 12-bit RAW recording is supported up to: 5.7K 59.94p (5728×3024, 17:9), 4K DCI 119.88p (4096×2160, 17:9), anamorphic 5.8K 29.97p (5760×4320, 4:3), and anamorphic 4.4K (4352×3264). Using a CFexpress Type B card (MOV, 5.7K 5728×3024, 29.97p/25.00p/24.00p), video can be recorded in ProRes 422 HQ and ProRes 422. The MFT Live MOS sensor supports burst shooting up to 75 fps with the electronic shutter. The Venus Engine processor provides high-speed processing for more pixels, higher-resolution video and data rates, 2D noise reduction, and high-performance 3D noise reduction. High-precision dual 3D color control manages color reproduction (brightness, saturation, hue) for richer, more accurate color.
The camera supports unlimited-duration 10-bit C4K (DCI)/4K 60p/50p 4:2:2 recording, provided the operating temperature is within -10°C to 40°C and Video Speed Class 90 media is used; recording time is limited by battery and media capacity. Simultaneous internal/external recording via HDMI is supported, as well as high-resolution slow motion with audio using 10-bit C4K/4K 120p/100p HFR. For professional editing, a wide range of 10-bit ALL-Intra modes is available, as well as FHD 240p/200p HFR and FHD 240 fps VFR (variable frame rate). VFR supports up to 12.5× ultra-slow motion (FHD 24p / 300 fps 10-bit). Anamorphic (4:3) modes include 5.7K (5728×3024) 4:2:0 10-bit 60p/50p (17:9) and 5.8K (5760×4320) 30p/25p/24p 4:2:0 10-bit.
Up to 7.5 stops of stabilization is available when using a lens with optical stabilization, combining lens and in-body systems. The tilting screen can be used even with HDMI or USB cables connected. Dual slots support CFexpress Type B and SD cards (UHS-I / UHS-II U3), including UHS-II Video Speed Class 90.
