Sony Alpha 6700 mirrorless camera with a 26 MP APS-C CMOS sensor supports continuous still shooting up to 11 fps and 4K (QFHD: 3840×2160) video up to 60p (50p). The camera supports high-quality XAVC S-I (All-Intra) and XAVC HS formats with 10-bit 4:2:2 color sampling. High-quality 4K 120p recording expands post-production options by emphasizing motion or creating slow motion. S-Log3 gamma improves tonal gradation from shadows to mid-gray (18% gray), providing 14 stops or more of dynamic range for flexible creative editing. Standard ISO range is ISO 100–32,000. The α6700 includes an auto-exposure algorithm that detects facial skin areas and adjusts exposure during photo and video shooting.
Built-in 5-axis optical image stabilization compensates various types of camera shake, including angular shake, which is more noticeable at longer focal lengths or slower shutter speeds. Autofocus recognition includes, besides people and animals, birds, insects, cars, trains, and airplanes. When connected to a PC or smartphone via USB, the α6700 can function as a 4K (2160p) webcam with improved autofocus for higher-quality online meetings and live streams.
