Canon XF200 is designed for HD production and combines high image quality with flexible dual-format recording. It features a 26.8 mm wide-angle lens with 20× zoom, and a dynamic optical stabilizer compensates shake in five directions. The Canon HD CMOS Pro sensor and DIGIC DV4 processor provide strong image quality in low light, wide dynamic range, and realistic color reproduction. Wide DR gamma helps reduce overexposure, and infrared shooting mode enables night use. Dual-format recording provides flexibility, speed, and data safety: video can be recorded simultaneously in two formats for backup and alternative delivery. Full HD footage can be stored on two CF cards using the 50 Mb/s MPEG2 broadcast codec, while MP4 versions can be saved to an SD card in Full HD or lower resolution for fast transfer, for example in news workflows. Built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet support quick transfer.
