Up to 2570 frames per second at 1920×1080 in Standard Mode.
12-bit digitization per pixel.
Sensitivity (measured by ISO 12232 SAT): 1200 ISO T Color (without OLPF), 1000 T Color (with blue OLPF).
HQ Mode provides maximum stability of image parameters in changing shooting conditions.
Compatible with Phantom CineMag; the CineMag interface has a field-replaceable contact matrix.
2 × 4:2:2 HD-SDI video ports, configurable as dual-link 4:4:4 (4:4:4 not available above 60 fps).
Global electronic shutter with a minimum exposure time of 1 microsecond (HQ shutter angles depend on frame rate and resolution).
Multi-take buffer capture enabled via memory segmentation.
Internal mechanical shutter for remote or automated calibration of the current session references.
On-camera control of modes, settings, playback, editing, and saving.
Frame-accurate synchronization via external signal for multi-camera matching—critical for stereo 3D shoots.
Three auxiliary 12 VDC, 1.5A power outputs for external devices (one on the viewfinder port), total max load 4A.
External trigger signal on the camera connector panel and on both 12 VDC power ports.
Genlock for playback synchronization—required for 3D video workflows.
Phantom Flex 2.5K is rented only with a technician. Technician shift duration is 10 hours.
The high-speed camera requires 220V power. Providing this power is the customer’s responsibility.
Insufficient light and light flicker are not camera defects and must be addressed by the customer. If, at the start of the shoot, provided lighting is insufficient for quality capture, the camera and technician shift are charged in full.
If camera power is lost for any reason, all data in internal memory will be lost. If power is lost while saving from internal memory to CineMag or a hard drive, data may be partially or fully lost and is typically unrecoverable. Responsibility for power loss (except direct fault of the rental provider) lies with the customer.
When using CineMag: after a CineMag is full, transferring raw data to another drive takes significant time (from 1 hour). If you need to keep shooting during offload, you must rent an additional CineMag and a CineStation dock.
HDD media can be provided to the customer only after preprocessing. Saving occurs in real time. On the shooting day, a clean NTFS-formatted drive must be provided for data transfer. The customer is responsible for drive quality. After offload from CineMag, data on the rental provider’s media is deleted after 1 day. Data is transferred to the customer drive only in one of the following formats: RAW, AVI, MOV, TIFF, DNG. Volumes over 30 GB are delivered the next day or another agreed day.
