The 20× optical zoom range covers most shooting scenarios, and Clear Image Zoom doubles the optical zoom up to 40× while maintaining image quality. The camera records in XAVC S, AVCHD, and DV 4:2:0 formats up to Full HD (1920×1080) 60p. It includes two SDXC/SDHC card slots and supports Memory Stick PRO Duo (Mark 2) and PRO-HG Duo. A 200 lux LED light at 1 m (5600K) reduces the need for additional on-camera lighting.
