SmallRig cage is designed to expand the operator’s capabilities when shooting with Sony Alpha 7 II, 7R II, and 7S II cameras. It enables building a versatile rig by mounting additional equipment. The metal construction includes multiple 1/4″ and 3/8″ threaded mounting holes, a NATO rail, an ARRI Rosette mount on the right panel, ARRI locating holes, and a hot shoe mount. Strap slots are provided on three sides for attaching shoulder or wrist straps.
The top handle mounts on a removable 70 mm NATO rail (included). In addition to 1/4″ and 3/8″ threaded holes, the top handle includes a hot shoe mount. The cage includes an HDMI cable clamp to prevent accidental cable disconnection during shooting. Total weight with all components is about 750 g.
