SmallRig cage is designed to expand the operator’s capabilities when shooting with Sony FX3 / FX30 cameras and allows building a versatile rig by mounting additional operator equipment. A key design feature is that the cage does not include a handle; the standard camera handle is used (included in the Sony FX3 rental kit). Please note: the FX30 rental kit does not include a handle.
The half cage includes multiple 1/4″ and 3/8″ threaded mounting holes, a NATO rail, a hot shoe mount, and a 15 mm rod holder for follow focus use. The bottom is compatible with Manfrotto and Arca-Swiss plates, allowing mounting on DJI RS 2 or RSC 2 gimbals.
