SlideKamera HSK 2 m slider uses three large aluminum-alloy rollers for carriage movement. Precisely fitted rollers minimize friction. The rollers run along the inner side of the rails, improving stability but increasing the likelihood of damage and contamination. The carriage includes a built-in bubble level and a lock to prevent unwanted movement. The slider has two small feet at the ends and three 3/8″ threads on the underside (one centered and two at the ends), which can limit mounting options; mounting on a tripod head requires a thread-reducing adapter. The slider weighs 8.5 kg (excluding motor drive), so it cannot be used on all heads. Due to the weight, it is recommended to plan mounting on three tripods or stands for even load distribution. SlideKamera HSK 2 m supports up to 15 kg. The slider is supplied with a Manfrotto 701 HDV video head. For heavier loads (e.g., RED cameras), a Manfrotto 501HDV head is recommended separately.
