Atomos Shogun 7 monitor-recorder kit includes an Atomos Shogun 7 and a Wooden Camera cage with additional accessories. The cage provides more comfortable operation of the recorder. Handles and a neck strap help distribute weight. The included mounting bracket allows installation on a stand, and 1/4″ and 3/8″ threaded holes are provided for mounting additional equipment. Power options are expanded: in addition to powering from two NP-F batteries or AC, a V-Mount battery plate allows use of higher-capacity batteries. A sun hood reduces glare and improves screen visibility in bright conditions. The kit includes an 860 PRO 512GB SSD with a mounting solution.
Atomos Shogun 7 is a universal monitor-recorder with a 7.2″ touchscreen and 1920×1280 resolution. It records Apple ProRes RAW 4:2:2 in 4K 60 fps and 2K 240 fps. The 1500 nit display supports Dolby Vision HDR with more than 15 stops of dynamic range and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. The recorder can receive and record signals from 4 sources using:

– 4 x 3G-SDI inputs (2K) or 1 combined 12G-SDI input (4K)
– 1 x HDMI output
– 1 x 12G-SDI output
– 1 x 12G-SDI configurable I/O port
Please note: maximum formats 4K 60 fps and 2K 240 fps are available only in single-channel recording mode from one source.
Audio features include separate audio track recording from cameras via HDMI and SDI, plus an XLR connector for connecting and recording from a 48V stereo microphone. Audio monitoring is available via a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Recording media: external SATA III SSD. Write speeds up to 500 MB/s; a 2 TB drive can hold up to 120 minutes of recorded video. Custom 3D LUTs can be loaded via SSD. Device dimensions: 214 × 127 × 45 mm; weight 738 g without batteries. Total kit weight with cage is approximately 1500 g.
