Blackmagic SmartView HD rack monitor is rented together with a carry case (integrated into the case). Screen size: 17″, with a 3 Gb/s HD-SDI input. The monitor automatically detects the signal type: 2K, HD, SD. An Ethernet port is included for remote control from Mac or PC. Blackmagic SmartView supports red, green, and blue tally indication for broadcast workflows. The Monitor Utility application uses the Bonjour protocol for automatic discovery of SmartView monitors on the network. Settings can be copied from one monitor to another, and the identification mode helps quickly locate a specific monitor when working with multiple units. The system is fully digital and avoids image shift issues.
