Samyang MF 8mm f/3.5 Fisheye is one of the widest fisheye lenses in its class and offers strong optical performance. It mounts only on Canon crop-sensor cameras, producing a 180° field of view. It uses stereographic projection, which provides a stronger sense of perspective compared to typical fisheye rendering, increasing stretching as subjects move away from the perspective point. Optical design: 10 elements in 7 groups, including an aspherical element to reduce unwanted optical distortions. Multi-layer coating combined with the optical design reduces flare and reflections. Manual focus only. The lens includes an aperture ring with click stops. Minimum focusing distance is 30 cm, enabling strong foreground detail capture.
