Nikkor AF-S 10–24 f/3.5–4.5 ultra-wide zoom lens with a maximum angle of view of 109° is designed for DX-format cameras (1.5x crop factor). When mounted on a full-frame camera, the image is reduced to the center with black edges. Ideal for landscapes, strong perspective effects, and shooting in tight spaces. The lens uses ED glass elements to reduce dispersion and aberrations, and aspherical elements to reduce distortion common in wide-angle lenses. These elements also improve contrast and provide sharpness across the frame. The Silent Wave Motor (SWM) provides fast, quiet autofocus. Internal focusing (IF) keeps the overall length stable, and the non-rotating front element allows use of polarizing filters and bayonet-mount flash accessories.
