Aputure Lantern 65 China Ball is an omni-directional spherical softbox resembling a traditional Chinese lantern. It is designed to soften light when working with powerful LED video lights and provides even 270° fill. The design allows quick setup and folds down easily for transport after shooting.

The beam direction and spread can be adjusted using the included four-section light-control skirt made of opaque fabric. Each section has a reflective inner surface and can be adjusted independently by raising or lowering any section to achieve the required lighting.

The lantern uses a Bowens mount and is compatible with many LED fixtures, for example Aputure Light Storm COB series lights. Total kit weight is 2.76 kg. Dimensions when set up: 650 × 650 × 560 mm; packed: 180 × 180 × 810 mm.
