Aputure Light Dome II octabox (90 cm diameter) is designed to soften light when working with powerful continuous LED video lights and Bowens-mount photo lights. The main feature is the quick-release build system: 16 ribs are pre-attached to the hub, and assembly requires moving each rib into the working position, where it locks securely. Disassembly is equally fast by releasing the lock at the base of each rib.

Aputure Light Dome II includes a magnetic gel filter holder (185 mm). The gel is placed at the base directly behind the light source; then the inner and outer diffusers (235 mm and 885 mm) are installed. Overall depth is 650 mm. These components produce soft, flattering light. The included grid reduces the beam spread by 40°, producing even softer shadows.

Note: The gel filter is not included.

Thanks to the Bowens mount, the softbox can be used with compatible fixtures; with a dedicated adapter it can also be used with on-camera flashes.

Although designed for powerful continuous lights, it is recommended to open the ventilation flaps on the rear of the softbox to reduce internal temperature during long shoots. When using filters, the manufacturer recommends replacing them every 2 hours during continuous operation.
