Aputure Light Dome III (90 cm diameter) is designed to soften light when working with powerful Bowens-mount LED fixtures. The model features a quick-fold design and a collapsible base-ring mechanism. Sixteen ribs are connected to the base, and assembly requires moving the ring into the working position. For transport, the softbox fits into a flat case measuring 88 × 18 × 5 cm.

With a Bowens mount, the softbox is compatible with many fixtures. Overall depth is 650 mm. Two outer diffusers with different transmission (1 stop and 2 stop) can be selected. The included grid is designed to reduce the beam spread by 40° and provide even softer shadows.
