ARRI Zeiss LWZ.2 15.5-45 T2.6 PL-mount ultra-light compact zoom matches the color of the ARRI / Carl Zeiss Cine lineup. The lens weighs only 2 kg, allowing use on Steadicams. It features T* XP anti-reflective coating for strong performance against flare and backlight.
The lens was first introduced at NAB 2010 as a successor to the ARRI/ZEISS LWZ-1. Its compact size makes it convenient for shooting in tight spaces such as cars, airplanes, elevators, and motorcycles, as well as for body mounts and underwater work. It can be used with both full-frame SLR cameras and traditional video cameras. The lens provides smooth out-of-focus rendering, and the mechanical design eliminates focus breathing. Minimum focusing distance is 45 cm; minimum aperture is T22; focus rotation is 337°; zoom rotation is 120°. Front diameter is 114 mm; length is 20.9 cm.
