Astera FP2 Helios Tube is a compact version of the FP1 Titan Tube. The FP2 Helios Tube length is 550 mm, which is half the length of the previous version. The fixture delivers high TLCI/CRI values of ≥96. Total LED power is 36 W. White CCT is adjustable from 1750K to 20000K, and within 3200K–6500K the color rendering indices are TLCI ≥96 and CRI ≥96. Luminous output is 1340 lumens with illuminance at 1 m of 393 lux.
Control is available via the buttons on the housing or via an IR remote. Another control option is the AsteraApp mobile application used with the separately rented Astera ART7 AsteraBox wireless interface. In addition, Astera FP2 Helios Tube can be connected to a DMX network via a dedicated hybrid power/data cable (not included).
The app allows full status monitoring and access to all settings. The kit includes an IR remote that can power fixtures on/off, activate colors, and trigger loaded effects. When using the mobile app, the IR remote can be used to confirm settings for individual fixtures. Individual fixture calibration provides 100% color saturation and high-quality color rendering when setting color temperature and reproducing standard gel filters. Adjustable PWM frequency helps eliminate flicker on camera.
