Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme live production switcher is used for online streaming with up to eight HDMI sources connected simultaneously. In addition to ATEM Mini Pro functionality, the Extreme version features eight HDMI inputs, two independent HDMI outputs with up/down conversion, multi-view monitoring with up to 16 windows, 4 keyers (one per connected camera) for virtual sets, 6 DVE processors, and 2 media players. A headphone output and an additional USB Type-C port are included. A smartphone in hotspot mode can be connected via USB for streaming over 4G/5G.
Streaming is done over Ethernet directly, controlled via a mobile app on a smartphone, or via USB connection to a computer where dedicated apps publish to YouTube Live, Facebook, and Twitch. HDMI outputs can display multi-view monitoring. Supports recording H.264 video with AAC audio to external USB SSD drives. For audio, two microphones can be connected via 3.5 mm stereo jacks.
Provides a wide range of transitions and effects with dedicated source buttons, adjustable transition duration, and Picture-in-Picture. Supports loading images for titles/logos. Chroma key (green/blue) is supported via primary and secondary keyers.
