Blackmagic Web Presenter HD streaming device enables live broadcasting via Ethernet or 4G networks to platforms such as Twitch, Facebook Live, YouTube, and Twitter. For a simple workflow, enter the stream key from a computer or laptop and press ON AIR; for subsequent connections (if the key does not change), a computer is not required. The unit has one 12G-SDI input and supports input up to 2160p/60; maximum streaming output quality is 1080p/60. The rear USB Type-C WEBCAM port connects to a computer, enabling use with streaming software as well as Skype, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. The front USB Type-C port is used for device control from a computer or for connecting a smartphone as a hotspot to broadcast over 4G/5G; such networks can also be used as a backup internet channel.
For monitoring, the signal can be output to a director’s monitor with technical data indicators, scopes, and audio meters via SDI and HDMI outputs. Monitoring formats supported: 1080p at 60/59.94/50 fps.
