Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT is a universal flash with a built-in radio control system for professional photography. Radio control allows operating the flash at distances up to 30 m. 15 radio channels are available; select the channel with the best reception. The flash also supports remote camera shutter release (a second flash or Speedlite ST-E3-RT transmitter must be mounted on the camera). In synchronized shooting, simultaneous shutter release of up to 15 cameras is possible.
Up to 15 Speedlite 600EX-RT units can be used at once for large subjects, interiors, or portraits. Flashes can be assigned to one of three groups (up to five groups with radio control) and controlled separately or together. High-speed sync allows the Speedlite 600EX-RT to work across a wide shutter-speed range, ideal for fill flash in bright sunlight.
Guide number 60 (ISO 100, m) allows the Speedlite 600EX-RT to cover a large area, even with bounce off walls and ceilings. Recycle time is as fast as 0.1 s. The flash head is rotating, allowing flexible bounce angles.
