Canon Log gamma provides a 12-stop dynamic range (800%) for maximum flexibility in post-production, while the Wide Dynamic Range function enables faster workflows by delivering wide dynamic range video without color grading. The Super 35 8.3 MP CMOS sensor delivers Full HD images with ISO sensitivity up to 102400 and very low noise. Combined with advanced video processing, rolling shutter artifacts are significantly reduced.
Dual Pixel CMOS AF provides intuitive focus control. Continuous autofocus automatically tracks and focuses on subjects in the center of the frame, simplifying shooting of dynamic scenes. Single-shot AF and face detection AF are also available, making operation straightforward for cinematographers. Compared to its predecessor, Canon C100 Mark II offers expanded recording options: AVCHD or MP4 recording at 1080/60p to dual SD cards with relay or simultaneous recording. AVCHD HD recording can be performed simultaneously with MP4 SD recording for maximum workflow flexibility. AVCHD bit rate is 28 Mb/s, MP4 up to 35 Mb/s.
The camera features a 3.5-inch OLED panel with 1.23 MP resolution and a large rotating electronic viewfinder, providing full shooting control. Additional automatic features include Push Auto Iris, auto white balance, and Focus Assist, alongside full manual control. Built-in Wi-Fi enables FTP file transfer for preview and browser-based remote control. HDMI output allows high-quality external recording.
