Canon EOS C300 Mark II features an advanced 8.85 MP Super 35 CMOS sensor delivering high-resolution images with low noise. Increased sensor readout speed significantly reduces rolling shutter artifacts. A wide ISO range up to 102400 ensures excellent performance in low-light conditions. Built-in ND filters greatly expand shooting flexibility, offering up to 10 stops of exposure control for bright environments or wide-aperture shooting.
Recording uses the XF-AVC H.264 4:2:2 codec, enabling internal 4K recording to memory cards at up to 410 Mb/s in 10-bit. Canon Log2 provides up to 15 stops of dynamic range for extensive post-production flexibility. The camera supports simultaneous 4K/UHD recording to CFast 2.0 cards, proxy recording to SD cards, and 4K RAW output to external recorders. Multiple color gamuts are available, including BT.2020, Canon Cinema Gamut, and DCI-P3.
Dual Pixel CMOS AF covers approximately 80% of the image area both horizontally and vertically, with face detection and automatic white balance. Autofocus performance is enhanced with adjustable AF speed and subject tracking response.
The camera supports 24-bit / 48 kHz LPCM audio with four-channel input, including internal microphones and dual XLR connectors, allowing flexible audio source combinations.
