Datavideo TP-300 tablet teleprompter for Apple iOS and Android allows the presenter to look directly into the camera lens while reading a script reflected on the glass (invisible to the camera). It fits any standard camera or tripod quick-release plate.
Note: the usable travel of the camera platform is 20 cm. Some camera-and-lens setups may be incompatible with this model, with the highest risk when using long telephoto lenses. Also consider the position of mounting threads on the specific camera body.
The unit allows easy, secure mounting of any tablet with a 7″ to 10″ screen. Scripts can be prepared using the free DV Prompter app (for iOS and Android), and text scrolling can run automatically or be controlled by the user via a wired/wireless remote for more natural delivery. A wide range of fonts in different sizes and colors makes text comfortable to read at various distances.
The updated TP-300 mounting design can be quickly adapted for tablets from different manufacturers thanks to a sliding tablet platform, allowing use of not only iPad but also Samsung and other Android tablets. The kit includes an Apple iPad 2021 64GB Wi-Fi tablet.
