Fujinon MK 50–135mm T2.9 — a lightweight zoom lens for E-mount cameras, designed for cinema and broadcast production. A constant T2.9 across the entire zoom range and low distortion provide excellent image quality. Together with the MK 18–55mm lens, it covers an 18–135mm range for a wide variety of creative tasks. The lens features three separate control rings: focus, aperture, and zoom. Each ring uses a cine-standard 0.8 MOD gear for compatibility with accessories. The lens has standard gear teeth and is manually operated. Gear positions for focus, zoom, and iris are consistent across all MK-series lenses. The built-in back focus adjustment mechanism does not require shims.
The focus ring rotation is approximately 200°, enabling precise focusing even in challenging shooting conditions. The de-clicked, stepless aperture ring provides smooth operation and helps avoid unwanted vibration and noise. The lens also includes a macro mode (0.85 m) and an integrated mechanism for individual flange focal distance calibration, allowing accurate matching of the focus scale to real distances. Focus breathing is minimized, and there is no image center shift along the optical axis during zooming, which is common in photo lenses. Focus is parfocal: you can focus on a subject and then zoom, and the subject remains in focus.
Fujinon MK 50–135mm T2.9 has the same size and weight as the Fujinon MK 18–55mm, allowing quick lens changes without reconfiguring a follow focus or rebalancing the camera on a tripod. Designed for Super 35 / APS-C cameras with E-mount. Color rendering matches Fujinon HK, ZK, and XK series lenses, enabling mixed use.
