F&V R-300 BiColor is a ring LED light with mounting for 15 mm rods or a tripod. Color temperature is 5600K. Beam angle is 65°, providing wide, even light distribution. A built-in dimmer allows smooth power adjustment from 0 to 100%.
R-300 comes with two magnetic filters: a tungsten filter and a Frost Diffusion filter. The tungsten filter shifts color temperature to 3200K for indoor tungsten lighting. The Frost Diffusion filter softens the light.
The ring light mounts on the front of the lens using a multi-part mount. The base mount has an 82 mm thread. Additional step rings allow mounting to 77 mm, 72 mm, and 67 mm filter threads.
The ring light also includes a 1/4″ female thread on the underside for mounting via accessories such as a magic arm.
Two power options: Sony NP-F battery or 2.5 mm DC input (DV battery and D-Tap cable are not included). Runtime at full power is 45 minutes with NP-F550 and 1.5 hours with NP-F770. The thin profile and light weight make it suitable for studio and location work.
