Godox DF-01 foldable light tent 120×120×120 cm is used for macro/product photography where an evenly lit subject on a white or colored background is required. Such images are used, for example, for online and printed catalogs. With clean separation between subject and background, images shot in a light tent are easier to cut out/mask, which is also useful for web design and banners. The rental kit includes white, blue, red, and black backgrounds.
Lighting setup is important when using a light tent. For best results, it is recommended to use at least three lights (one on top and one on each side). Depending on the goal, lights can be placed all around, including underneath. The walls are made of a special fabric with increased diffusion, treated with an impregnation that protects the tent from high temperatures, which is important when using powerful lights. Thanks to the smooth curve of the background sweep, the seam between horizontal and vertical planes is not visible in the image.
