GoPro Hero 9 Black Edition features a front color screen and HyperSmooth 3.0 stabilization. Video recording is available up to 5K 30p, with 20 MP photos. Four digital lens options provide different fields of view: Narrow (27 mm), Linear (19–39 mm), Wide (16–34 mm), SuperView (16 mm). The classic GoPro mounting fingers are built into the camera body and fold away.
Maximum video resolution is 5K (5120×2880) 30p. The highest frame rate is available in Full HD—up to 240 fps; in 4K, up to 60 fps. Live streams are published in 1080p. In addition to stabilization, HyperSmooth 3.0 provides horizon leveling. TimeWarp 3.0 includes automatic speed selection, subject focus, touchscreen control, and speed control. Three microphones with wind noise reduction provide high-clarity audio. LiveBurst captures 90 frames in 1.5 seconds for selecting the best shot.
