The main differences of Insta360 Pro 2 compared to the previous model are improved video/photo quality and better operator usability. The most important change is 9-axis gyro stabilization, which the original Insta360 Pro does not have. Insta360 Pro 2 supports slow-motion 4K recording up to 120 fps. 8K 2D recording is available up to 60 fps, and new recording modes are included, including 8K HDR video.
With the Farsight high-power Wi-Fi transmitter, the operator can be up to 300 m away from the Pro 2 and receive a higher-resolution preview with minimal latency. Insta360 Pro 2 can record up to 120 Mb/s per each of the 6 cameras to separate microSD cards, and also provides a slot for one shared memory card. A built-in GPS module adds geotags to photos and video. Battery runtime is up to 70 minutes.
