Battery designed specifically for the Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera. This lithium-ion battery is approximately 30% more powerful than the BP-511A battery used in Canon EOS 5D and 40D cameras. One charge cycle provides up to 850 shots at normal temperature (tested by Canon experts). The Canon EOS 5D Mark II can display the following battery information: current charge level; number of photos taken on the LP-E6 battery since the last charge. Canon LP-E6 must be charged with the Canon LC-E6 charger.
