Manfrotto XPRO (MPMXPROA4) is a 4-section aluminum monopod with a maximum payload of 8 kg. This professional monopod is intended for heavy photo equipment, such as reportage cameras with fast telephoto lenses. The design combines engineering solutions from the professional Manfrotto 190 and 055 tripod series.
Maximum working height is 180 cm. The D-shaped aluminum tubes improve resistance to unwanted rotation during sudden movements and prevent the leg sections from twisting relative to each other. Improved Quick Power Lock lever locks secure firmly on the flat side of the tube and reduce the risk of accidental opening. An upgraded rubber grip provides comfortable use in both hot and cold conditions, and two mounting screws (1/4″ and 3/8″) make the monopod more practical and faster to deploy in various locations. The improved textured grip pattern provides more reliable hand contact; together with the wrist strap, it makes operation more comfortable and secure. Thanks to three foldable feet, the monopod is extremely compact: when folded, its length is only 56 cm, making it easy to carry. Manfrotto XPRO (MMXPROA3) replaces the Manfrotto 680B.
