Panasonic GH5 II mirrorless camera supports real-time live streaming and records C4K 60p/50p 10-bit video. The camera is suitable for a range of tasks, from streaming and still photography to extended uncompressed video recording for post-production. An improved 20.3 MP MOS sensor with anti-reflective coating reduces flare in challenging lighting such as backlight, delivering high-quality video and photos. Panasonic GH5 II supports simultaneous internal recording in C4K/4K 60p/50p 4:2:0 10-bit and external output/recording via HDMI in C4K/4K 60p/50p 4:2:2 10-bit. Recording time is limited only by battery charge and media capacity. The camera provides a wide dynamic range of 12 stops in V-Log L, enabling use of the same LUTs as V-Log workflows.
Dual I.S. 2 combines in-body stabilization (Body I.S.) and lens stabilization (Lens O.I.S.) and provides up to 6.5 stops of correction with a compatible lens. AI-based autofocus delivers fast, accurate performance, with deep-learning recognition of human faces, eyes, heads, bodies, and animals. Camera control, including for live streaming, can be done via a mobile device using the Panasonic LUMIX Sync app.
The camera uses a BLK22 battery. When a charged battery is installed, the USB Type-C port can power the camera during shooting from an AC adapter or power bank; in this case, the battery will not charge. To charge the battery in-camera, the camera must be turned off. The camera is also compatible with BLF19 batteries, but they have lower capacity than BLK22 for GH5 II.
