Nano Surface coating on all elements suppresses unwanted flare across the light spectrum, maintaining clarity even when shooting bright light sources.
The built-in optical stabilizer helps produce sharp images across the frame, compensating for both small fast movements and larger shake, useful in low light such as at night or indoors.
Designed with video in mind, it supports advanced Panasonic focus algorithms: the motor can perform 240 focus adjustments per second, reducing autofocus hunting in video. A separate stepper motor enables smooth aperture transitions to avoid exposure stepping during changing light (e.g., moving from shade to sun). Motors operate very quietly for better audio recording.
