Nano Surface coating suppresses unwanted flare across the light spectrum, maintaining clarity even when shooting bright light sources in very dark scenes. The lens features a removable hood and a filter thread, enabling the use of ND, polarizing, graduated, color filters, and more.
Built for video use, supporting advanced Panasonic focusing algorithms: the motor can perform 240 focus adjustments per second, reducing autofocus hunting. A separate stepper micromotor enables smooth aperture transitions to avoid exposure stepping during lighting changes. Motors operate quietly for better audio recording.
