Panasonic Lumix G 14–140mm f/3.5–5.6 ASPH / POWER O.I.S. covers a wide focal range — 28–280 mm full-frame equivalent — and is suitable for many shooting situations. The optical design includes 14 elements in 12 groups, including three aspherical elements and two extra-low-dispersion elements, achieving compact size with low distortion and chromatic aberrations.
POWER O.I.S. optical stabilization compensates both fast small-amplitude movements and slower larger-amplitude shake, enabling sharp images even in low light. With internal focusing and a stepper motor, the lens operates smoothly and quietly. It also makes full use of cameras with high-speed contrast-detect autofocus.
The lens features a reliable metal mount, and the front element has a coating that significantly reduces flare. The 7-blade aperture forms a round opening, producing very soft blur at smaller apertures.
