RØDE VideoMic Pro is a compact shotgun microphone designed for digital video cameras, DSLR cameras, and portable recorders. It uses a condenser capsule that delivers a mono signal to both left and right channels. The supercardioid pattern provides strong front focus while rejecting side and rear noise. The microphone handles SPL up to 134 dB, is powered by a 9 V battery, and includes a switchable low-cut filter to reduce background noise such as air conditioners or traffic.
