Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 FE is an ultra-wide autofocus lens in an aluminum body designed for full-frame Sony mirrorless cameras with Sony E mount. The one-piece aluminum housing provides dust protection and eliminates play. The built-in hood is covered by a cap; the only external control is the focus ring.

The optical design consists of 14 elements in 10 groups, including 3 aspherical elements. A 7-blade diaphragm delivers smooth, pleasant bokeh. Maximum sharpness is achieved around f/5.6 to f/11, chromatic aberrations are minimal, and barrel distortion is corrected using the appropriate profile in post-processing.
